Rob, I am with you 100 percent that the imagination is the powerhouse of civilization. The arts, which theoretically could include almost all of our fabrications and behaviors can serve as media for the immanence of goodness and grace. Am gratified that you conclude your praise of the imagination by noting that a corrupted, debased, toxic imagination is a death knell of individuals and of an entire cultures. Let's continue to cultivate goodness in ourselves, - certain that transformation is timely, that our sun rises, galaxies move too, and we may rise with the cosmos.
Dear Sir, I cannot thank you enough for these weekly sharings. I was just sitting here, feeling the breeze of the fan on my feet, and it occurred to me not exactly in my brain that my heart is a lunatic for loving and standing in the place where all is possible and then I remembered I hadn’t read this week’s post and, man oh day. I am grateful for your gift of articulation and inspiration. Also I love gates and thresholds and portals so that Lion’s Gate Portal thing, yay.
My spouse was drawn to 8/8 as a portal date a few years ago and I followed him with curiosity and enthusiasm. Each Lion’s Gate has brought us experiences that were rich with unexpected gifts. This year we were transported to another realm that we will always remember.
Yes. As you describe it through the portal aka destiny wormhole it’s a reset time extraordinaire. I’m experiencing that. Your ongoing observation too many are watching snickering contributors to staying stuck. Witnessing that too.

There are equinoxes and soltices at 0 degrees of cardinal signs on the zodiac and there are cross quarter days at 15 degrees of the fixed signs. One of which is at 15 degrees Leo. Around August 6 to 8. Not sure why it turned into the lion portal.
Those days are traditionally considered to allow access to other realms.

That’s the imagination declawed and put on a leash and sent out to fetch merchandise.” 😂Brilliant! So made me laugh my coconut water out my nose!🤪👊😎😂… well said Rob. And just because the Heart told me to, I offer this bit of another way of knowing: there’s not really a “monkey heart” that chatter’s drunkenly - that’s just the drunken monkey mind/head diving a little deeper into Emotions. Ego is the blocking gate that dresses up as the heart like at a fancy dress costume party- but still rattles and churns about how to see the emotions (in-motion flow) and name them and such - because the heart is silent when it comes to that stuff. It simply pours fourth its energy and our programmed monkey comes up with those deep feelings as stories the head can wrap itself around. Mind loves Logic. Love ain’t logical - and that is the realm of the heart and its expression. That dang gate blocking the clear flow from the heart to just speak its silent alohas is more trickeration of the Ego/mind/head/“monkey” - makes us think it’s the heart. In the meantime what is often happening for the heart is it’s being pressed down upon by the chattering Ego-gate while In its natural flow it’s opening the thousand petal Lotus of itself - which basically shuts up the monkey 🙊…😆 … as anyone who’s ever experienced being in love has probably tasted! In Zen - which is before Buddhism, which, as we all know, Buddha was never a Buddhist - in Zen the drunken monkey mind is all of our thoughts feelings emotions ideas - pretty much everything but for the No-thing(ness). And that’s just another way of chattering about it! Thanks! 🫨🫡🪷❤️🐴🙏
You are likely preaching to the choir, here, but I'll follow your suit and mention that recently discovering the (supposedly minor) Higher Heart Chakra associated with the Thymus Gland was an eye-opener for me. It is located between the Heart and Throat Chakras, logically enough, but it's already become my default over even the Heart Chakra. I need my focus to be balanced between compassion and communication. Not that I will always hit the target, but I'll work on that. Thanks for sharing.
