True enlightenment does not escape the glorious mess of human nature; it embraces it completely. The traditional priests have turned spirituality into a graveyard, teaching people to fight their own bodies, their desires, and their joy.

This rebellion is beautiful, for a Buddha who cannot laugh, dance, or celebrate the senses is just a stone statue.

Only through total acceptance of the earth can the lotus flower of consciousness open toward the sky🪷

I'm not really sure exactly where it came from, but "you will always be outside the circle" has been with me forever. Maybe even "you don't deserve to be included". And so as an Aquarian, I welcome with open arms this reading. And as these things go, some inclusion in my family that has been missing for years has suddenly begun to happen recently. I like it.

Congrats! This book looks awesome! And I agree about those spiritual folks who rank on our physical body, which is a miracle in action. And emotions are key to story telling, art and music which are the greatest things humans have created! True Tao is to deal with the flow of the good, bad and the ugly because they have always been here and most likely always will. The human condition is what you make it.

Rob, the book excerpts read as a timely antidote to the descent into the rabbit hole of "consume more", that life "owes" happiness especially to Americans, etc., etc.. I'll purchase a copy. Sounds like a good companion read to the Heidegger I am working on. Be well my friend!

“ you will never be seen or appreciated for who you truly are” I am sorry you were jinxed by that comment. From my perspective, I took it as a deep and insightful compliment. I believe your teacher was telling you how deep your thinking and understanding is. Basically many people do not have the capacity to understand you or your teaching or appreciate what you are doing. I believe she saw your future.
