Dear Rob, I’m going through a personal rough patch and your horoscopes and words of hope truly gave me sustenance today. On my list- reading words from people who are working to make the world better in the face of cruelty and chaos. There are too many voices that catalogue the cruelties without cataloguing the efforts to counteract them. But those efforts are everywhere, all around me. Thank you, thank you. I’m going to pull out my copy of Pronoia today💙
The distinction between rebellious hope and naive optimism is kinda crucial here. I've watched people in my circle toggle between both extremes lately, either pretending everything's fine or completely giving up. The part about tracking what actually supports us feels like practical advice more than feel-good fluff. Last year I started keeping a similar list after a rough patch and it changed howI responded to daily stressors. Not becuase the list magically fixed anything but because it kept me from spiraling into total helplessness. There's something about naming tangible supports that makes them feel more real and accessible.
This piece feels so appropriate as Saturn and Neptune are closing out in Pisces and preparing for an epic link up in Aries! Good heavens! Rebellious HOPE!
Love "Rebellious Hope". Something which came to me a bit ago is "possibility" in place of "hope". Since anything we imagine is possible, we can seek to influence the transformation of the seemingly impossible into a probable possibility. Not sure if these concepts will help you all, but it's possible.
Dear Rob Brezsny and Team
You are brilliant Rob ! I feel reading what you put in print very valuable at this time of change. Thank you.
Please check the horoscope for

This is brilliance, Rob. Your newsletters are more & more powerful. Thank you. And thanks to whichever gods placed you here with us. :)
Thank you, Rob…🌟🌷
I would have never gotten through the past 10 years without a deeply rooted sense of hope and trust in the Divine. 🙏
My former spiritual teacher often said that Hope was a product of human ignorance.
No wonder.
We’re at not for spirit I might have never woven my way through the existential control at his hands.
But…there was Hope + Faith…and the END of bypassing.
“Not the decorative optimism that functions as spiritual bypassing.”
With Gratitude and a hearty & happy New Year…🙌🌟🦋
Warmly,

Hi, Rob. Check out Jason Robert Brown's song "Hope" as sung by the sublime Betty Buckley.
