I am happy to share that I have written one story directly inspired by a dream I had just before waking, and several other stories have been influenced by dreams I've had. Sharing them, that's the rub!
I’ve been reading your enchanting and elevating horoscopes since the late 90’s. A little alternative newspaper called Uptown published it weekly in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. At the back by the savage love column. I often started the paper from that end. Combing for fun events, weekly inspo, and some insights into adulting as I was a teen at the time.
When I went to San Francisco in 1999 I hoped to bump into you, and Lawrence Ferlinghetti. The latter happened at City Lights!
Thanks for being a spark of jazzy light in the night of boring land. You did and still do give me a dose of weekly hope. Always expanding my perspective. And giving somewhat of a riddle to solve. To live into.
I love hearing this background. Synchronicity and irony hanging out. It is so fascinating how often our greatest adversaries can be our strongest propellers. That’s where the learning is both tough and juicy. Calling on us to be brave and assured. The strength of opposition can become our own energy as in aikido. Flip the momentum and harness it. You modelled this well. Thank you 🙏 🌟✌️
You, Rob, are one of my “unexpected helpers and teachers.” I am sending you a warm and love-filled thank you for that. 🌟✌️💜
