As someone who's been reading and adoring your words for literal decades, I wonder why people who think you write too much are even here? Your writing is a huge part of why I love your content! Anyway, I just became a paid subscriber to make up for one of your lost subscriptions; your words will always be cherished in my little corner of the internet. :-)

Been my fave since discovering your writing in the Seattle Stranger as a college student in the ‘90’s. That alone is an amazing work of time travel - magic 🤯

You have been my favourite and my Mother's since the early 90s ❤️ Each week, especially at this opening moment in our history, I've found rebellious hope, comfort and support in your words. I appreciate the time you take in synthesizing poignant history, metaphor and the complexities of being human. To that combination I feel the huge amounts of LOVE and TRUTH that you pour into your writing. Your light is so needed, appreciated and I am filled with gratitude for you sharing with us.

As a senior in a repuglican state, where food prices are rising to a degree of discomfort, my finances are quite limited. I don't currently have the resources to become an annual member, but I assure you that I am happy with your offerings. I really like this one on healing. As a chiropractor who witnessed all stages of healing, I can attest to the truth of your words.

I resonate with your words on healing. They lift and deeply acknowledge how unique an expression of life we each are🙏😎

You do you. And I have always apprecaited that. Now supporting it. I'd be careful about making assumptions about why people are unsubscribing unless they specificallly told you why.

It’s that time of year when you’re once a year subscriptions and all of that crap comes up and I preemptively started ending subscriptions because I’m on a fixed income. In my family, we say if I had nowadays money I would give more I would say more and I would do more.

It's highly unusual to lose so many subscribers at once. I feel it's reasonable to assume this was a response to what I wrote.

I have lived and breathed Pronoia since I found FREE WILL ASTROLOGY, lost my mother, gained my perfect job as a computer technician and bought my first computer. I wandered around the mystery of the internet like nowadays, energy, not knowing what was true or what was false. This was somewhere between 96 and 98 And I still can’t spell BREZSNY Without checking. Oh, and bought the book 3 times. The third time because I lost every book I ever carried.

I randomly happened upon your mass self marriage ceremony in 2001 in the dusty place.

It's a strange world we've become since then.

It remains my ardent hope we can build something beautiful out of the pieces that are left when the current process reaches its denouement.

My beloved therapist, Katherine, saying to me many times, “And all of this can change,” is a big reason I am here today in this moment. Because I opened to the possibility that what she said could be true. For life can present us with endless opportunities for healing. 🌼🍃✨ Thank you for the reminder, Rob!

I've been a grateful paid subscriber for several years, and a faithful reader for decades. I look forward to your rumination every week. Your words and wisdom have been the gentle crack letting me find the light of my own words and wisdom. And maybe it was your truth telling that lost subscribers, maybe it was the reality that subscription fees add up quickly on substack. But you keep being you, either way! ❤️🤗❤️

Beautiful. So important to honor the dignity of others.

I started reading your horoscopes in the pages of the alternative newspaper when I lived in Portland Oregon in the early 2000's. They are often medicine for me. Thank you for all the work you do.

Personally, I'm tired of people who cannot take time to read learn and grow. I am happily a paid subscriber and urge you to keep writing. I've followed and valued you for many moons and have just now become able to pay for such things as luxuries such as paid subscriptions. Besides, should I decide to offer paid content, how can I possibly expect others to pay for mine if I'm not willing to pay for some too. Keep writing my friend. Many are reading. 20 more will come. Blessid Be.

Powerful take on solve et coagula in the Pisces section. The reminder that we cant skip the dissolving phase to jump straight to building is something I needed to hear, honestly. I've noticed myself trying to rush toward some new structure when maybe the unraveling still has work to do.
