Thank you for this dose of sanity. I've been going crazy thinking Biden should cede his candidacy. What you point out about the media bias, luminaries who are supporting Biden and the evidence that his stumbling is a result of disability and not cognitive decline - all so helpful.
The press appears to have a vested interest in getting Trump elected because he’s good for business; the chaos he creates is good for the media business. If anyone is in mental decline, it’s Trump; Biden has no cognitive issues whatsoever, and a medical/neurological report was released just a few months ago on his mental and physical health. The press has chosen to ignore that. It’s pure cruelty.
Rob, I must thank you again for a newsletter that lifted me out of despair while I am going through a bout of Covid. When you’re feeling ill, the troubles swirling around us and the fear of the future seem enlarged and more ominous. This newsletter put me back on my feet this morning, cleared my brain and heart of worries, and made me feel optimistic again.
The recommendations of staying clear-headed and actually realistically optimistic, where possible, appeals to me. The quote about the future felt right and I’ll have to read that again.
