How do you do it?? I so look forward to your horoscopes that if I wake in the night (Tuesday mornings) I will go to the audio horoscopes for the latest Leo reading. Today’s was, like so many are, weirdly in sync with my experience. Yesterday, after contending with obstacles and aggravations I gave up on what I was doing and sought out my daughter. She was gazing at a beautiful rainbow that arced across the sky and landed on our street. The end of the rainbow! And pointing at that precise spot was a construction sign saying “Detour.” I took this as a pretty fabulous omen (why not?) and went to bed imagining that a rainbow was going to offer me a shortcut across my travails. Then at 1am I couldn’t sleep so I listened to your horoscope about bridges—fantastic! But that’s not all! I didn’t look at your newsletter until I got up this morning. I had just been dreaming about a woman that I once knew very briefly. She was kissing me, which I sort of enjoyed but was slightly ambivalent about, especially when she wanted to go beyond kissing. She popped up throughout my dreaming, pressing me with this kissing dilemma. What struck me when I woke was that in my brief and totally platonic association with this woman we talked about love, that perhaps there’s something more than the conventional “love” that we’d been weaned on. This was at the time that my awakening began (and your horoscopes pointed to with exquisite accuracy!) so I was only just beginning to think beyond that limited, misery-inducing kind of love that I’d known. Anyway, before reading this newsletter I had been thinking about her and wondering, how open am I to receiving love? Thank you for being my guide through the murky depths and keeping the flame of joy alive.
