I have appreciated and read from top to bottom every one of your election posts, and they have given me strength in these final days prior to the election. I am somewhat shocked that people who follow and support a menacing, threatening, hate-spewing, clearly deranged candidate would also be followers of the love and light that you exude in your newsletters. I simply cannot make the connection there, except that they are completely hoodwinked and don’t at all see the violence emanating from that man. And that in itself is scary and disturbing.
Thank you for your ever noble inspiration. And standing firm in your heart when threatened by withdrawal of financial support. That means so much. It spawns change. May we all be blessed with compassion through this experience, even those (maybe especially those) we see as adversaries.
Wish I could vote in this election but I cannot as I am a Canadian. I am glad to be up here to your north, however, we are not sheltered from the decision that the US citizenry will make in a few days.
The outcome of this election will affect our entire continent and far beyond. Will the United States of America choose divisiveness + chaos or compassion, collaboration, + cooperation to tackle the many challenges of this time?
I know what I would choose in a heartbeat.
May all those with the privilege to vote PLEASE make the effort and the time to vote.
Every word you wrote here hits home for me; and the fact that so many European countries are begging Jill Stein to drop out of the race indicates how aware the world is of the impact of a potential Trump presidency. The problem is that Jill Stein is something of a self-aggrandizing narcissist, so it is unlikely she will heed the call. But things are looking good for Kamala Harris at this point, and I remain hopeful.
This is such a gift! I head about Bernie's video and it was so reassuring to see the whole thing. Also, I really appreciated reading Angela Davis' quote and all she advocates for. Yes to voting blue at all levels. Thankyou Rob! That was a great response to why people should vote blue in a state that is not in a swing state. New Mexico is blue but has held on by threads in the state legislature in the past for reproductive freedoms and other issues. 45 had a Rally in Albuquerque the other day. Anyway, I am not the best statistician when it comes to politics! I like that the number of subscribers who left were 45. By their voluntary, vitriolic departure, Very symbolic of raising and "inspiring the liberated imagination." And removing 45 from vitriolic power.
45 naysayers have now departed the platform of love and light. Yea! I don't truck with Rump supporters, and have none on my FB page. They have been deleted the moment they raise their voices. I was shocked to learn that you were carrying these unconscious, unfeeling, pitiful creatures along. Good riddance, I say. The world has never seen anyone like you before, and I am grateful to be in your "circle." Thank you so much for you.
Thank you again for all of your hard work. These messages mean so much more than the constant advertising and endorsements we see. To me, this seems the most important election I've ever participated in. I have to forgive people who so insistently want things which I feel will destroy our nation. But I will do all I can to counterbalance them. What you have posted did not change my opinions or my actions, but it is a real comfort to read and listen to all this.
I’ve loved your writing for so long. Just subscribed (sorry it took me so long!). Thank you for being such an eloquent voice for change and sanity. Much love. 💙
Well, I hope your new subscriptions surpass those leaving! Thank you for helping us to try embracing the chaos and the anxiety in order to use it for understanding and healing. I missed the 11/2 Women's March and felt self-disappointment all day. It helps to to reset and keep moving; Tuesday we vote!
I'm so grateful for your wisdom, Rob. I've rsad and appreciated the insight i glean every time I open your newsletter. Thank you especially for being a clarion call for waking up, growing up, and loving up. ❤️
