I am asking you to use your influence to possibly help right a grievous wrong. Leonard Peltier, a Native activist, has been wrongly imprisoned for 48 years. Perhaps you know about his case. Many people have spoken out for his release, but sadly, it has yet to happen. My personal hope is that he be released to make room in the prison for Trump. If you might mention him in your newsletter, perhaps a grass roots letter writing campaign might start.
