I'm with you, Rob, all the way. It is a time when we must be brave enough to risk it all, even unto death. I cannot imagine living under Trumpian rule. I won't. Thank you for your centering leadership.

Thank you for being a giver. Thank you for being true to yourself and expressing your opinions with others in a world where seems increasingly difficult to see truth and express your feelings about it regardless of the opposition faced.

Thank you Rob for expressing your joy so we can feel hopeful. Your writings have pulled me through many a dark time. Your words are life changing and imaginative stirrings of wisdom. Keep it up.

As a Pisces, I really liked your astrological suggestion this month to use Ho'Opona pona to work out disagreements with others. I've been recommending it to my clients for years, and they report good results. I've been personally using it with a troublesome woman recently. She doesn't seem to be moving from her fossilized position yet, but I'm working on it.

Thank you Rob. I remember back in the day picking up copies of The New Times in NYC to get my fix of “Real Astrology.” So glad you continue to be part of my life. Thank you. Thank you. 🙏🏻

I really love your spiritual activism and go on with it. I've just seen this, so I'm not quite sure about Substack as a platform now.. https://read.substack.com/p/the-fight-for-free-speech-in-2025

I express my creative thoughts, feelings, and artistry on 12 different platforms and 91 newspapers.

I give away some of that stuff for free. I also offer some for sale or donation on the platforms.

Over the course of my career, my work has appeared in over 200 publications.

+

Here's what’s true about all those platforms and publications:

I like and agree with some of the other voices they publish;

I am indifferent to some other voices they publish;

I dislike and disagree with some other voices they publish. In fact, I regard some of those other voices as harmful and pathological.

+

Here’s my position: Even though every platform and publication I’ve used falls short of being a perfect match for all my values, I continue to use those platforms and publications.

My attitude is the same about this issue as it is about citing the work of people I disagree with, which I describe below.

+

Now and then, I quote or discuss a person who is less than a perfect exemplar of my noble ideals.

Some readers rage at me for doing so. Don’t I know, they scold, that so-and-so is a jerk?

I almost always do know. And I certainly don’t approve of the quoted or discussed person being a creep. I wish they weren’t. I’m mad at them for the dreadful things they have done.

On the other hand, if I refused to learn from people unless I agreed with and liked everything they had ever said and done, I would never learn from anyone.

If I condemned to oblivion everyone who didn’t reflect all my noble ideals, if I crossed everyone off my list unless they were immacul

ate angels, I would be bereft of influences except for Mickey, my beloved stuffed bunny from childhood. He is irreproachable.

My general philosophy is that everyone on the planet, including me, is a jerk at least some of the time. In fact, I’m suspicious of people who are apparently so flawlessly well-behaved that they are never jerks.
