YAAAAAAAASSSSSS! I gave up on talk therapy for myself ages ago.

Only invest in action jackson somatic (any kind of movement!) therapy and what-can-I-do-now microactivism now, anchored in the sweet call of best-case-scenarioness present-futures.

How many lifetimes do we have? I can't relive my past on repeat non non non non non!

The now is a fab present. Longterm thinking and "this moment is as it is" helps calm the nerves and allows for rapport, connection, wellness feelings and relaxed dreaming of joyous existences. Thank you for all your fab work and happy Tuesday!

woot woot! <3<3<3

YES! do what you can when you can ALL THE TIME.

Very anti-oppression stance that is sustainable and fun to do, cause hey hey I have limited funds, almost no down time and far too much curiosity and enthusiasm about everything.

Big things are important too of course, and micro is all can handle daiy for now.

WeeeEEEeeeEEEEeeeEEEE!

The revolution is joy and playing our way free, enjoying the journey as we go.

Free to be!!!

Oh boy this is another one of those 'it gets better every time", time. The whole topic and theme is consumed with priceless gems. One of the favorite's is “Peace can be made only by those who are peaceful, and love can be shown only by those who love. No work of love will flourish out of guilt, fear, or hollowness of heart, just as no valid plans for the future can be made by those who have no capacity for living now.” Rob I am always so grateful for your being. I love and appreciate you (for a long time). Heartfelt words and actions now seem to really resonate and find a home with me. It is filing a void with love, meaning and understanding. This is what the world needs now. Love you, thank you.

Rob thank you for this, there is so much in here that resonates. I've read heard and read many of these folks before, but hadn't seen them brought together so beautifully and meaningfully. Deep bow to you and the others who are embracing and sharing it all with joy!

I will add the Great Commandment of Jesus the Christ, which asks us to love others as we love ourselves, and to love God will all our heart. I have taken that to mean if I struggle to grow as a human, or overcome trauma, then I must also seek others to heal alongside myself; to do so is a loving act toward the Creator, because we all know that a Mother is pleased and feels deeply loved when you are beneficent toward and admire her children. This is not to imply that Rob's piece wasn't whole without this inclusion. I'm just sick and tired of my Holy man being kidnapped by violent forces on the political right, as he spoke very clearly about not doing that. So I'm standing up for Jesus as he expressed himself in the Gospel (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), which came to us from reporters of those days (aka, male scribes), translated through time by other males. Thank God for the feminine spirit who can still discern properly these days!

This reflects the spirit of decolonizing therapy promoted by Jennifer Mullen in her work Decolonizing Therapy: Oppression, Historical Trauma & Politicizing Your Practice (https://www.decolonizingtherapy.com/). Therapy in this way, moves beyond the potentially rarified space of the treatment room into the whole of our lives.

The Holy Force

Sacred Activism as Embodied Enlightenment- This post was so beautifully written, epic in scope, and heartening, that it elevated my spirits and resolve to continue to foster joy as an integral part of being an agent of change. Also, I shared it with multiple people, with whom I collaborate, particularly on issues related to addressing marginalization. We often experience fatigue. Recently, music and dance have been my counterbalance- my personal joy bubble to fuel me and give me energy and grace in the human work we do. Most of the time, I blast the music in my ears and dance like a fiend, regardless of whether I’m at the grocery store or in my living room. Now, I think I will have to incorporate playing the music out loud and invite others to catch the contagious joy with me. Thank you Rob and Team for such an excellent post.

Rob, your posts are always good and this one is especially so, and timely. So much of the 'resistance' is sourced from the same negative upheaval that causes all the suffering. Thank you for always being a devoted voice for change coming from love in action. I so appreciate you and your words and your being.
