Quite possibly the best article on the whole mess our country has become.
Mom always said to vote for the least bad. I pray people realize this. While I miss them, I'm very glad my mother and father didn't live to see this disaster.
You may know about this but just in case, I thought you may like to see what I just received in inbox: Matthew Fox, Caroline Myss and Andrew Harvey just released a new book called,
Trump & the MAGA Movement as Anti-Christ: A Handbook for the 2024 Election
When I voted Thursday I felt so aware of the gift to vote and the opportunity to send a blessing to the candidates I selected, to our country and the world. I told everyone at work I was going to vote without saying who for. I work with many under 25. They cheered me on. I hope they can feel empowered to vote as well or have voted.
“If the United States elected its leader by a method that ALL other Western democracies and republics use, Trump’s three Supreme Court appointees would never have come into power. The Roe v. Wade law would not have been overturned. Abortion would still be fully legal in the United States. “
Thank you. Your work uplifts me every time I read it, even when you speak the truth, which as a rule, you do. This is not easy to pull off. I voted, and I take my voting practice seriously. Now that it's done, I pray that power-crazed people and their enablers will not succeed in dominating those of us who want to live in peace and health. It's quite a stark time to be a person.
I'm utilizing your election prayer. May it propel us to wild, certain and unequivocal victory...
Can't thank you enough for your thoughts and brilliance. You clarify the significance and gravity of the state of this and every election...the importance, the right & responsibility, and privilege of voting.
THANK YOU, Rob. Sending you and your readers love. Celebrated my birthday by voting for Kamala in deep red, rural Georgia! This Libra knows another justice-loving Libra when she sees one <3
I am horrified at where we are at this moment. Looking back, when I was so unhappy with the two candidates that were offered, I voted for Jill Stein. I did this only because I was sure in my mind that Clinton was a shoe-in, and I wanted to state my dissatisfaction with our poor choices. I will never do that again. I can happily state that I was glad to vote for Kamala. Is she perfect? No, but she's a hell of a lot better than the other choice. This article gave me information I never had. It was enlightening. Thank you.
Thank you for this about voting! I’ve held my nose many a time in the voting booth where I am for each and every primary and then election. I’m distraught about Gaza but have no choice but to vote for Kamala and along with Bernie am impressed with Joe’s record. I wrestled in my heart to forgive him about my heroine Anita Hill but did and am grateful to Joe. May the Goddess Lady Liberty bless us with Her Grace next week!
Maybe one of the last things Biden can do before he signs off is use his executive power to write off the electoral college. Put it where it belongs, in the trash bin, for good.
Thank you Rob. According to an article by Filmmaker Michael Moore he wants President Joe Biden to use the Supreme Court’s ruling on presidential immunity from earlier this year to squeeze some progressive policy priorities into his last 100 days in office.
In a Saturday post on Substack, the “Bowling for Columbine” director outlined 13 demands he thinks Biden should take on before his term comes to an end in early 2025, calling the ideas his “bucket list for Scranton Joe.”
Pushing back on the notion that Biden has become a lame-duck president, Moore wrote, “You’re not done. You’ve still got 100 days left in office! And the Supreme Court has just granted you super powers — AND immunity!”
“You don’t answer to anyone,” Moore continued. “For the first time in over 50 years, you don’t have to campaign for anything.”
Moore was referring to a Supreme Court ruling made in July, which declared that presidents have “absolute immunity” from criminal prosecution for acts done in an official capacity as commander in chief.
Maybe Biden doesn't even know he has these superpowers. I sent him Michael Moore's list and blob on why he has superpowers and how he should use them. I will put the link here for you to check it out. If its true perhaps we can do a write campaign to get him to write off the electoral college. Post Haste. Michael didn't mention that. Here's the link. I love you Rob. Thank you. I love and trust Michael too. I really think he is on to something and we need to capitalize on it. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/michael-moore-has-some-ideas-for-how-president-biden-should-use-immunity-ruling/ar-AA1scFM5 Thank you.
Thank you so much for using your platform for this essential argument, when we are on the brink of fascism.
Puro genius

Love one another
Ditto on the missing my parents & glad they didn't have to see this mess or Covid.
Thank you Rob 🙏🏾

Yes! Can I post this with credit to you on Insta?
Yes!
Voting as a life or death matter in 2024... and here we are looking at a Mars-Pluto opposition. Couldn't be more apt.

I believe that "stark" is an understatement.

You explained the stakes beautifully! Great job and thank you.

Voted as soon as my state allowed. I hope everyone else does the same.
Voting is not a spectator sport.

Unfortunately, Biden doesn't have the power to do that. Wish he did.

Yes yes yes, I read that piece by Moore and totally agree!
Thanks for sending it.
