I always appreciate Rob's deep understanding of the feminine spirit, and his commitment to honoring women's agency and their bodies. Reading his thoughts today and I am left with a question that I wish someone like him would help us understand: WHY did a majority of White women vote for Trump in 2016, 2020, 2024. I am a White woman and I am sickened by this fact. Women as a whole have voted Democrat all three times, but a majority of White women have seen fit to hand our country to a corrupt businessman, adjudicated rapist and serial sexual assaulter, compulsive liar, and con man. Also, the fact that women over all did not turn out to vote in any rate close to the last two general elections in this highly consequential one just staggers me.
I believe the answer is in our history. Between the Burning Times, the Reformation, and the Age of "Enlightenment," white women were forcibly uprooted and suppressed. Many have no clue about the Goddess. Many believe the lies of Patriarchy pounded into their heads since birth. Many hear the screams of their grandmothers in their forgotten nightmares and choose survival over free agency.
Bringing back the Goddess and restoring Her in the Abrahamic traditions won't solve all of our problems, but it would be an excellent starting point.
Thank you, Rob. A reminder that the Woman Life Freedom movement in Iran is ongoing despite rabid state suppression and is a model we can follow, support and draw hope from globally. True defiance and solidarity and bravery and wisdom . Rob, I would like to wish you and your loved ones a happy Day of Gratitude. I deeply appreciate your newsletters and inspiring thoughts/insights. I pray that love and sanity prevail in the coming year in order to keep the worst intentions of the new government in check.
I love the tone and content of this week's newsletter. I was raised in part by the Silent Majority, my mother was a child of the depression, and I have a stoic side. I have the language patterns of the Rust Belt, mixed with early feminism my beliefs would have set us free, male and female. I gave birth to justice warriors. I'm a #metoo survivor at the 5-year-old, a survivor of the patriarchal sins of the fathers. And the power play lie of original sin.
You can hear me battling judgment of peoples' actions in everything I do. I've fought this cage match all my life. Pronoia was my lifeline. I believe in grace organically. Pronouns they/she/her are all fine. I ascribe to the thought of as many faiths as there are individual people, every being matters. Deprogramming is underway, happy to understand my falsies. A student of Ho'oponopono for whatever it's worth.

Internalized misogyny is a coping strategy for living in the patriarchy. It’s a form of Stockholm Syndrome.

A father’s progress:
For years, my concept of “manliness” was built around the question, “How can I help the women in my life feel safer?”
It took my having a daughter to realize what I should have asked was, “How can I help the women in my life grow stronger?"
Thank you Rob 🙏🏻❤️
Thank you, Rob. And no need to apologize for length. Everything you said was important to say. 💞🌱☀️
